About Julie

Personal support from someone who truly cares.

I built Julie's Compassionate Home Support on a simple belief: that everyone deserves to be cared for as an individual, not a number.

A local business rooted in South Norfolk - that takes the time to really get to know the people and families supported.

I'm not a care agency. You get consistency, reliability, and a familiar face. Every visit matters to me.

Why Choose Julie

Support that fits around you or your loved one.

I have spent a number of years working in home care, and recently served as Nurture Lead at a local primary school. Across Norfolk and Suffolk, I've seen first-hand how much a kind, consistent helper can mean to an elderly person and their family. Equally, how distressing it can be when care feels impersonal or unreliable.

Julie's Compassionate Home Support was born from a simple desire to do things differently. To have a single dedicated person who genuinely cares about the people they support. To offer families the reassurance of knowing exactly who is coming through the door - and that they'll always be treated like family.

Compassionate Care

I genuinely care about the people I support and believe everyone deserves to feel valued, listened to and respected. Every person deserves to be treated with respect and sensitivity, no matter what support they need.

Consistency

Familiar faces matter. Ensuring your loved one sees the same carer, building real trust over time.

Honesty

Communicate openly with families, keeping you informed and involved every step of the way.

"Julie provided this support with kindness, patience, and dignity for my father. She also prepared home-cooked meals, accompanied him to medical appointments, and provided valuable companionship.

She was highly skilled at gently orientating him, supporting his understanding of what was happening, and helping him feel safe and comfortable."

Debbie

"Living with a life-limiting illness, I struggle to do the things I used to do.

I've always been very independent, and the thought of having to leave my home and move into supported living is something I really don't want. My home is where I feel my happiest.

Julie has such a kind, caring and patient nature. She understands how important it is for older people to feel respected, listened to and, above all, remain in control of their own lives."

Christine, aged 85

"Since my eyesight has gotten worse, and living with an illness, Julie takes me shopping regularly.

It helps me to keep up some independence, and it's nice to have a coffee and chat afterwards.

She also helps with the things I struggle with like changing the bed and hoovering."

Cynthia, aged 82
